Mission

As part of a highly dynamic team, the candidate will be responsible for design, creation and maintenance of the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions for different projects from various data sources using Informatica products (PowerCenter , IDQ, MDM ) and SQL technologies.That includes testing the implemented workflows to ensure the system runs smoothly with optimum performance , also interacting with business users frequently for collaboration and alignment on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze requirements to identify any gaps or missing information needed to perform development and testing activities

• Translate business needs to technical specifications

• Participate in high level design for needed data warehouses 

• Create and maintain data warehouses

• Collaborate with different teams to integrate systems

• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting

• Deliver developed transformations on standard configuration management tool

• Follow standard team processes and guidelines and ensure process conformance

• Report work progress in daily status meetings

• Participate in Weekly meetings/calls with internal and external customer

• Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible 

• Support his/her colleagues whenever required

• Raise flags proactively for any issue that can impact his/her project or team

• Collaborate with different teams to integrate systems

• Develop and maintain technical documentation

• Upon need, support in  crafting and executing queries upon request for data and presenting information through different reports and visualization

 Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Communication, or Electronics.

• B.Sc. in Computer Science

• 3-5  years of relevant experience

• Good knowledge in Agile Scrum

• Business processes understanding

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent Troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Team spirit and excellent communication abilities

• Excellent organizational skills

• High sense of ownership and responsibility

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of ETL concepts is a must

• Good knowledge of ETL design and optimization techniques is a must

• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter development and deployment is a plus

• Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries is a must

• Hands-on experience with data modeling techniques is a must

• Hands-on experience with programming languages  (e.g. Java and Python) is a plus

• Familiarity with google cloud platform  is a plus
