Your new role

As a Data Engineering Specialist, you will:

  • Contribute to the migration of reports from legacy systems to a modern data warehouse integrated with Power BI.
  • Design and implement scalable Data Warehousing solutions with a focus on efficient data modelling.
  • Develop and optimise ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources leveraging MS SQL Server database software
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Deliver high-quality data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, enabling actionable insights for decision-makers.

About you

You’re a data engineering professional with minimum 3+ years of working experience and a strong background in data warehousing development. To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in Data Warehousing and data modelling, with evidence of delivering large-scale solutions.
  • Expertise in SQL, SSIS, and ETL processes is required
  • Proficiency with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reporting solutions with good understanding of dimensional modelling and DAX is required.
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps, CICD pipelines
  • Working experience in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Cloud platform preferrable
  • Working experience in legacy reporting systems like SSRS preferrable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex workflows.
  • Experience in financial services, such as banking or insurance (preferred but not essential).
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
