ESG Data Solutions Engineer

We are looking for an ESG Data Solutions Engineer with experience in python, SaaS, and ESG/Sustainability. This specialized role is a unique opportunity to combine your technical skills and ESG knowledge to provide clients with leading ESG solutions for an internationally recognized brand. We are open to candidates who are based in Montreal.

What You Will Do

• Support a portfolio of high-profile clients leveraging our ESG solutions
• Build and maintain a scalable data infrastructure that delivers a best-in-class customer experience
• Quickly respond to customer needs in collaboration with Project Managers
• Handle large databases and implement complex calculations in the platform
• Implement data ingestion and processing solutions innovatively, illuminating strategic priorities
• Implement automation and monitoring tools through a quality assurance approach
• Develop processes allowing our ESG platform to grow and gain velocity

What We Expect

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Excellent management and analysis capabilities of large databases
• Experience in Python and knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Good command of Excel
• Knowledge of GitHub processes
• Qualities of rigor, structure, and organization
• Spirit of initiative and enthusiasm for the opportunity to work as a team to innovate in an agile way, with a penchant for action and speed
• Have a master's degree in software engineering, data analysis, environmental science, or related field
• This role will work from our Montreal office in accordance with Nasdaq’s hybrid work policies

Bonuses:

• Interest in ESG, basic notions of environment and sustainable development
• Knowledge of Machine Learning
• Familiarity with the different Python libraries
• Familiarity with ClickUp project management software
