About this opportunity
We are offering you a very exciting opportunity, where you will support the Head of GDM by driving specific topics and initiatives, executing analyses, creating decision and communication material, as well as following-up on agreed actions and keeping an overview of many subjects simultaneously. You will be exposed to exciting topics, opportunities and challenges when at the same time head the Management Office. The Management Office consists of two Management Partners that support the GDM Leadership Team and interacts with the other part of Data Strategy Execution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Representing GDM in various situations both internally and externally and act as an ambassador for data
- Leading and developing a highly professional team
- Driving specific strategic and operational topics by leading the necessary initiatives and investigations
- Creating status overviews, analyses and decision proposals
- Delivering high quality material to external and internal stakeholders
- Collaborating and facilitating a dialogue with GDM’s supporting units and other Business Areas/Group Functions to create impact, and mutual understanding across the organization
- Facilitating and steering GDM governance & decision making
- Ensuring that GDM’s Leadership Team takes action on the initiatives decided upon Nordea’s Group Leadership Team and the Group Business Support (GBS) Leadership Team
- Preparing, facilitating and supporting GDM Leadership Team meetings
- Driving the QRM process in GDM including prepare and deliver the QRM towards GBS
- Working closely with GDM Leadership team and support them within their areas with different projects – both as a facilitator and a sparring partner
- Working closely to the Head of Group Data Management and help create high level material, and preview material if needed
- Proactively building strong relationships and engage with key internal & external stakeholders across GBS and Nordea
You will lead a Nordic team and the role is based in Stockholm; Helsinki. You will be reporting to Christian Maltesen, Head of Data Strategy Execution.

Your experience and background:
- Relevant experience is expected from managerial or strategic partner roles with good references
- A business-minded and result-oriented background, displaying a high level of ambition who sees opportunities, even in complex and challenging situations
- Proven track record of working with senior leaders
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in accordance with Nordea’s values
- Suitable education background such as economics, business, engineering or similar
- Relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
