We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a focus on statistical analysis and experimental design. This role will influence all aspects of the product and business. You will build tools to better inform internal teams, support data-driven decision making, and enhance customer experience. This role will also help shape our core culture and grow our team. You’ll be working on the biggest big data challenges the company faces and will execute across domains.

**This role is fully remote within the US**
What You’ll Do
- Providing data analysis support for our AI-based products and collaborating with our Data Science team.
- Partnering with stakeholders to design experiments to answer business questions, including defining key metrics and applying appropriate statistical techniques to analyze results
- Developing a standardized framework for experimentation to promote faster cycles of iteration, learning, and product improvement
- Becoming an expert of our entire data stack: how we get the data from customers, how we normalize that data, and how internal teams and customers consume that data.
- Building, maintaining, and testing data models which support reporting and analytics.
- Improving our customer facing reports, visualizations and dashboards that highlight the value SmarterDx delivers to our customers.
- Conducting data driven investigations into trends and anomalies impacting growth, customer success, product delivery and reliability.
- Working with leadership to create, refine and maintain metrics to track company performance.
- Developing internal-facing reports and dashboards highlighting the impact of people and systems across the company.
What You Bring
- 3-5+ years' experience as a data analyst or product data scientist (or, if your y-intercept is lower, evidence that your slope is super steep)
- Masters in statistics or other relevant fields preferred
- Strong technical skills: querying data with SQL, building ETL pipelines, performing analysis with python, and communicating findings with compelling data visualizations
- Strategic: strong ability to connect analytics to business understanding and concrete use cases
- Ownership mindset: Build and own features from start to finish.
- Versatile: Deal well with ambiguity and understand that there is sometimes a need to hack a feature together.
- Product focus: How can we maximize the utility and value we deliver to our end users?
Nice To Haves
- Experience with health system clinical and/or revenue cycle data is preferred

Compensation
$130 to 160k base + equity
