Language Data Annotator - Canadian French (Remote)

Work Location: Remote, candidates must be located in British Columbia, Quebec, Ontario, or Alberta.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday during regular business hours 

Engagement Model: Temporary employment 

Language Needed: Canadian French, English  

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for Language Data Annotators with idiomatic fluency in Canadian French to join our team in Canada! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology. 

This role requires a high level of independence, adaptation, and accuracy – love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role! 

Role Summary 

Language Data Annotator will focus on creating diverse and challenging prompts for an AI assistant, ensuring they reflect real-world scenarios and cover a wide range of topics and styles. Your role involves crafting prompts that test the assistant's ability to understand and execute complex instructions accurately. 

No previous experience or training in the field is required - we will teach you all you need to know. 

Requirements

Role Responsibilities 

• Develop natural language prompts that mimic human interactions, covering different styles (e.g., argumentative, narrative) and topics (e.g., science, history, technology) 

• Check and refine prompts to ensure they meet quality standards for natural language and user engagement 

• Ensure the prompts set includes a mix of difficulty levels to assess the AI's adaptability and problem-solving skills 

Role Requirements 

• Idiomatic fluency in Canadian French

• Eligible to work in Canada

• Must be of legal age (18+) 

• Great reading and comprehension skills 

• Ability to meet daily KPI's 

• Excellent time management skills 

• Ability to work independently 

• Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities, quickly and efficiently 

• Ability to track, analyze, and report issues 

• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) for duration of the project 

• Ability to understand and implement feedback 

• Detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive tasks
