While being a part of Schneider Electric, Zenatix continues to operate as an independent business delivering automation solutions for small and mid-sized buildings, which are deprived of automation globally (as BMS addresses mostly large/complex buildings). Zenatix is strongly positioned to drive significant growth in its existing markets (India and UAE), while launching its products in the US and EP markets later this year. 

 

About the Job 

 

This is a unique opportunity for someone with Computer Science background (and a good knack of programming) to apply their knowledge working closely with business teams, understanding the key metrics that the customers care about. 

 

The key deliverable for this role will be to understand the Zenatix architecture and data model to be able to cater the business requirements that would primarily revolve around defining key metrics, reports, and work on standard data models to provide meaningful insights to the customer. The candidate will be actively working with cross functional teams to gather requirements and understand the business cases in detail to propose the best possible solution. In addition to this, the candidate will be required to resolve advanced technical problems brought to us by business, product team, sales personnel, and any other user of the solution. 

 

We capture more than 400 million data points daily across our solution. Hence the candidate must have the acumen to crunch large data sets to draw meaningful insights for the users. 

 

Our solution is based on a cloud-first approach; hence the candidate should be able to understand the cloud architecture and multiple application frameworks to understand the challenges/limitations and accordingly recommend optimisations/define new features. 

Job description: 

 

  • Product knowledge 
    • Develop a deep understanding of our stack, features, and solution offerings 
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor products/solutions 
  • Ownership of logic development across different in-house developed data analytics frameworks (such as Metrics and Reports)  
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of our data architecture and dataflows  
    • Understand business use cases to define metrics to capture meaningful and actionable insights 
    • Build a deep dive understanding of our HW solutions to define logics to detect anomalies across their day-to-day functioning 
    • Develop new reporting and enhance current reports to keep them in line with changing business needs 
    • Fulfil ad-hoc data request from different stakeholders 
    • Documentation of all logics, edge cases, supported configurations and related topics/applications 
    • Understand the requirements from Product team and develop corresponding logics and take the changes through whole SDLC journey including post-production support 
    • Prioritise critical requirements and stride towards delivering it in a set timeline 
  • Analytics 
    • Conduct deep dive exploratory analysis to help explain trend breaks or other data anomalies 
    • Build understanding of analytics-based HVAC data models to optimise efficiency of the installed solution 

 

Education qualification and must have technical/soft skills: 

 

  • Ardent desire to work at the intersection of technology and business 
  • Bachelor's in engineering with 0-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry 
  • Languages and Tools: Python (including OOPs, Pandas, Matplotlib/Plotly), MS Excel (Advance) 
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices 
  • Knowledge of relational database design, Postgres DB & SQL and data integration practices 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill 
  • Source Code Management in Git repository 

Good to have skills (Knowledge / Experience): 

 

  • Time-series or large-scale databases 
  • Django (Basics) 
  • Power BI, Tableau (Basics) 
  • Data Engineering / Pipeline tools like Airflow etc. 
  • Docker & Kubernetes 
  • AWS/Azure/Google Cloud  
  • Hands on experience with Jira
