Data Analyst, PSQ Sales

Reporting to: Head of Sales Operations

 

Purpose of the role:

1. Support the PSQ UK Sales LT through the provision of high-quality commercial insight from our CRM and BI platforms, with a focus on market and customer insight, data analysis and answering business questions 

2. Manage and develop our suite of Tableau and SalesForce reports to allow the Sales Leadership Team to focus on strategy, people management and revenue generating activities.  

 

Commercial insight and analysis

Lead the commercial insight strategy and priorities for PSQ Sales, in partnership with Sales LT

Develop and optimise forecasting and KPI reporting to support Sales LT

Support Sales LT and Finance in the administration and reporting of the Sales Incentive Plans

Provide summary reporting for Weekly Stand Ups, Monthly Management meetings and ad-hoc  

Partner with Heads of Sales to answer identified questions/support business decisions through data analysis, e.g.  

Customer segmentation work

Sales team performance tracking

Retention and churn analysis

High level reporting and dashboards

Predicting revenue risks and opportunities eg cold spot analysis

Lead continuous improvement workstreams to maximise accuracy, scope and impact of commercial insight

Manage and develop our data reporting suite

 

Data maintenance and improvement

Lead data maintenance strategy and priorities, in partnership with Sales LT/teams' priorities

Close liaison with BI team re Sales needs, pushing for best in class service

Build relationships with Customer Data/Oracle teams to create a joined up approach and minimise risk

 

Training and support

Training and upskilling of Sales Ops and other colleagues

Bring expertise in wider industry practice and data strategy outside of Pearson

International alignment

Support and alignment with International Sales, as they work to enhance their own data capabilities

 

Skills and experience:

Strong data analysis experience drawing on data from a range of sources, eg CRM systems, Tableau

Ability to design, create and optimise high quality reports and dashboards to provide leading indicators and support decision making

Confident in leveraging data to support business decisions

Possible: Fluency in tools such as Salesforce, Tableau
