Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Science Intern to join our team!

Ready to advance your education and have the opportunity to apply Machine Learning to real world problems? Parsons is now accepting applications for Interns who have an interest in the field of Data Science.

We need our interns to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills   In this role you will be under close supervision of a degreed professional, and complete routine support assignments.  Your assignments are designed to develop a working knowledge of practices and procedures related to Machine Learning.  This is a developmental position for college interns who are pursuing a technical (non-engineering) field of study.   
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Researches and gathers statistics and related data for reporting.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• In support of degreed professional, apply Machine Learning techniques to generate training data, train models, and report observations of statistical models

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Incumbent must be enrolled in technical curriculum at an accredited college or university and completed at least one year of study.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Familiarity with tasks, techniques, and PC software packages typically associated with field of study.

• Organized and self-motivated

• Able to work in a team environment

Salary Range: 

$21.44 - $37.55
