We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building pipelines to transform data from data warehouse into datasets ready for analysis (dashboards, reports). You will develop and maintain analytics data from all stages of the trade lifecycle. The role is crucial to support business with data-driven insights and leverage data to inform business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Data Ownership
- Design, define, and implement data models and schemas to enable analysis
- Build, maintain and optimize data pipelines
- Interface with business stakeholders to define problems and develop analytic driven solutions
Data Governance and Quality
- Own data quality to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Create and maintain data documentation
Analysis and Reporting
- Develop dashboards and artefacts to enable self-serve data consumption
- Leverage on proprietary data using statistical analysis to provide data insights for business development as needed
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong skills in SQL, knowledge of database management and data modelling
- Experience in visualization tools, preferably Tableau
- Passion for building high quality assets and scaling data
- Detail oriented and excited to learn new skills and tools
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Snowflake, or GCP
- Good understanding of financial markets
- Experience in Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters Eikon or other data vendors
