How you will contribute to our magical experience?:
The Analyst, Advanced Content Analytics will join the Business Intelligence team to apply advanced methodologies to understand content performance and audience engagement on Disney+. He/she will work closely with the Regional Content Manager to generate audience insights, applying quantitative methodologies, machine learning, and data storytelling. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as this position is expected to inspire data-driven decision-making across diverse stakeholders throughout the company.
The Analyst, Advanced Content Analytics will be responsible for:
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategies that enhance content consumption and platform engagement.
- Develop a deep understanding of the entertainment industry and market dynamics.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and leverage opportunities. Collaborate with periodic presentations and meetings, focused on actionable insights.
- Keep on track key streaming and digital consumption metrics able to perform deep understanding of content consumption.
- Bring effort to the constant improvement and development of new tools for analyzing data.
- Go beyond data reporting to analyze the "why" behind consumption.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- Advanced english level (written and oral).
- Experience working in entertainment or related fields (is a plus).
- 1+ years of experience working with large datasets using SQL (Snowflake is a plus).
- 1+ years of experience with data programming languages (Python or R preferred).
- Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like (Looker Studio desired).
