Job Description Summary

The Temporary Senior Statistical Analyst will support an innovative research and health policy-related research projects conducted by investigators in the Division of Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine.

Job Description

The Temporary Senior Statistical Analyst supports innovative research and health policy-related research projects conducted by investigators in the Division of Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine. Using large array of statistical and analytic programming tools, the Senior Statistical Analyst will conduct specialized statistical analyses such as hierarchical linear or non-linear models, Bayesian analyses, decision trees, multivariate analyses using propensity scores, and is expected to apply tools across the disciplines of conventional statistical inferences and new technologies from data science. Expertise with data visualization techniques, dimension reduction, and ability to work across a wide range of statistical and computer programming tools (SAS, STATA, R, SQL and Python) are important to enable innovative research.  The individual must have work experience using Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data.
