Job Description:

We are seeking a Full Stack Product Engineer with expertise in both frontend and backend development and a focus on AI/ML integration. This hybrid role combines in-person and remote work, offering flexibility while fostering collaboration at our Chicago location. As part of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications. Your work will ensure seamless product performance, scalable infrastructure, and the successful integration of advanced Language Learning Models (LLMs) and other AI-powered technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Product Engineering: Build, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency across the platform.

• Backend Development: Design and implement robust backend systems using Node.js, Python, or similar frameworks, integrating data and AI features.

• Frontend Development: Develop interactive and responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js, ensuring smooth and intuitive user experiences.

• AI/ML Integration: Implement machine learning models and LLMs to automate workflows, enhance personalization, and improve platform functionality.

• Database Management: Manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure seamless data flow between components.

• API Development & Integration: Create APIs and integrate third-party services (e.g., healthcare systems, public directories) to enhance platform capabilities.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and maintain high performance.

• Deployment & Maintenance: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and cloud deployment using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Vercel.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to quickly identify and resolve issues post-deployment.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in full stack product engineering with strong competencies in both backend and frontend development.

• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or similar backend frameworks, and React.js for frontend development.

• Practical experience in AI/ML integration, with hands-on knowledge of deploying LLMs or machine learning models.

• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Vercel).

• Proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure product reliability and performance.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with a focus on continuous improvement and customer impact.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare technology and working at a start-up where you successfully launched products.
