Internship- Development of a new post-flight analysis tool
Brussels, Belgium
Egis Group
An end-to-end global engineering and operating firm, Egis is creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere.Company Description
One of Egis’ major clients uses an internal software which is connected to their ATM system, and permits to store, archive, and analyse data. This software was developed twenty years ago and has become less efficient because of the growing amount of data, outdated processes and outdated technologies. As a result, it is now slow, incomplete, and difficult to use compared to other modern software. To solve these issues, the client has decided to create a completely new version of this software. The new version will use modern methods for data collection and it will have an updated user interface. Egis participated to the first step of this project and identified the inputs and outputs of the current software (reverse engineering). Egis also identified some existing functionalities not needed in the future and proposed some new functionalities to be developed.
