Apple's Immigration Team is seeking a dedicated, innovative and driven Reporting Analyst with experience reporting on sophisticated immigration programs to further strengthen our global immigration program. You will have a considerable track record of researching, analyzing and reporting on different trends. Using either publicly available or collected data, you will draw insights that can be used to build actionable strategies for Apple Immigration. The Reporting Analyst should be flexible and able to work globally, with various types of datasets, and may be required to spend a significant amount of time crafting and delivering reports and maintaining dashboards and reports.

Description


As Apple's Reporting Analyst, you Identify and implement consistent, innovative, analytics-based data and reporting solutions to drive business insight, scalability and compliance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement data models, metrics and reporting frameworks and collaborate with various teams across Apple to guide and provide insight; Works closely with immigration vendors to provide holistic insights. You will own data extraction from Apple source systems and transformation of data as required for induction into other non-integrated systems and identify and own reporting and analysis of key immigration metrics. Performs industry research using publicly available data sources. You will use data mining tools to collect data for further research and analysis. Offers suggestions and direction from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers. The ideal candidate is able to prioritize multiple key initiatives simultaneously and loves to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, computer science, data science, statistics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in reporting analytics and data analysis
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau
  • Advanced experience with database and spreadsheet software such as MySQL, Excel and Numbers
  • Experience with processes and frameworks ensuring data accuracy, privacy and security
  • Significant attention to detail and an ability to quickly spot and fix problems
  • Experience working in a team setting and partnering with business leaders
  • Strict attention to and appreciation for deadlines


Preferred Qualifications


  • Advanced knowledge of data mining tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of U.S. Immigration
  • Knowledge of statistical software and programming languages such as Python and R
  • Solid understanding and experience with cloud-based data solutions such as Snowflake and Data AWS
