Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect with a strong background in data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, and cloud environments to join us in transforming how we leverage data for autonomous systems. This senior role offers a unique opportunity to lead in building scalable data systems that empower our developers and scientists to innovate and create cutting-edge solutions in autonomous technology.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Architect, you’ll take the lead in building data pipelines that bring autonomous vehicle data to the cloud. You’ll design scalable, multi-tiered architectures capable of handling massive amounts of high-speed data, ensuring seamless access for our developers and AI teams to fuel their innovations. By implementing MLOps frameworks and leveraging tools like Databricks, you’ll enable efficient workflows and push the boundaries of what’s possible in analytics and machine learning.

You’ll also play a key role in establishing and enforcing data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across all levels of the world-wide organization. This role puts you at the cutting edge of innovation, managing PB+ scale data from sensors, cameras, lidars, and radars. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to turn complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions, all while mentoring and inspiring your team to adopt cutting-edge technologies and governance practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 7+ years in data architecture or engineering, with a track record of designing scalable cloud-based data solutions.

• Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL, Python, ETL processes, and data modeling with experience managing large datasets.

• Cloud Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and scalable, secure data operations.

• AI & MLOps: Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks and platforms like Databricks to drive analytics and machine learning.

• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams while fostering a culture of innovation.

• Big Data: Experience handling large-scale data from autonomous systems, including real-time sensor streams.

• Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
