Job Description

Agilent's AFO Data Operations team is looking for a Data Operations Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data in our system and directly impact the customer experience by providing exceptional service to our customers.

As a Data Operations Specialist, you will play the critical role of validating customer information and ensuring accurate account creation and updates, in accordance with regional and worldwide data standards. Your role will also involve researching and collaborating with business partners from various functions to resolve customer account issues, acting as a decision maker regarding AFO data quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Validate customer information, working with internal and/or external customers to ensure accuracy.

  • Create and maintain customer accounts, ensuring Agilent's data quality while maintaining efficient turn-around times.

  • Adhere to data governance rules and SOX regulations.

  • Research and resolve customer master data issues.

  • Assist business partners with data quality inquiries.

Location: Must be within commutable distance to our Wilmington, DE office

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Hybrid work schedule

Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree or higher, and/or proven years of experience in a relevant field.

    • Experience working in customer service and/or project management is desired.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Capable of working flexibly and autonomously when required.

    • Understanding and focusing on leading solutions and being resourceful.

    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    • Proactive attitude and an ability to generate ideas and problem-solve.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on being able to provide effective and timely communications.

    • Driven to achieve a successful experience for the customer whilst also achieving our internal goals.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • SAP/CRM experience preferred

    • Strong business partnering skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

    • Ability to work overtime at the end of the month and as business needs.

    The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $20.77 - $32.45/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
