Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Help us define the future for AI/ML practitioners. You will be responsible for understanding and defining requirements for markets leveraging AI/ML/Compute technologies, and working within the organization to deliver those solutions.

 

THE PERSON:

As the successful candidate, you will have a Product Management background with a history of working with AI/ML applications and workloads. You can demonstrate experience in software development organization, and a solid understanding of computing platforms for AI/ML practitioners and developers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Management of AMD Software for AI/ML practitioners and developers, and new software solutions addressing this market
  • Driving Software Roadmap based on strategic planning, requirements identification and competitive analysis
  • Manage inputs to Engineering facing teams for effective delivery of end user solutions
  • Detailing marketing requirements and use cases
  • Positioning and messaging of solutions
  • Encourage teams to meet aggressive deadlines on incredible products
  • Lead business processes to funnel requirements to engineering facing teams
  • Direct and indirect communications with OEM customers, ISVs, and internal teams regarding feature requirements & schedules, issue resolution and mitigation commitments
  • Participate in conference calls with key customers
  • Ability to evangelize solutions to large and small audiences 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid understanding of AI/ML practitioner and developer needs, the dominant trends in this market, the competitive landscape, what matters most to developers of these solutions, and which needs are going unmet
  • Extensive experience working in technology with development teams delivering products
  • Ability to demonstrate product management experience, specifically, the development, communication, and implementation of product plans
  • Comfortable making regular presentations to senior leadership
  • Ability to work well with internal and external engineering teams to develop practical solutions to challenging technical problems
  • Detail oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Experience providing support as needed to sales and marketing organizations 
  • ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Master's preferred
