This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

• Responsible for the development, evaluation and implementation of tools and methods with the focus on coding and programing in order to improve the manufacturing KPIs (OEE, Scrap reduction, CT, Productivity).
• Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
• Development of algorithms for data processing and database management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end process over the whole value stream.
• Responsible for developing and the follow-up strategy and milestones of the Industry 4.0 Roadmap of the value stream.
• Perform cost / benefit analysis of the I4.0 solutions.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or similar

Qualifications

• Fluent English knowledge
• Very good in using Matlab for coding and data-processing
• Experience with coding languages (VBA, Python, SQL database, Machine learning tools or similar)
• Knowledge about manufacturing processes (optional)
• Software programming with Matlab, Python, VBA or similar
• Handling of data; data quality, consistency, availability
• Database and data structure
• Interest in Engineering and Data science processes
• Close collaboration with internal customers
• Be able to work in the team
• Independent working style
• Initiative and creative mindset
• Knowledge on machine learning is beneficial
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI and Tableau)
