A Little Bit About the Position
Are you ready to lead a team that transforms data into actionable insights and drives organizational success? As the Lead Data Analyst at Gemini Legal, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping data strategy, mentoring the Data Analytics team, and delivering impactful solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. This position combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to spearhead advanced data initiatives, develop innovative dashboards and reports, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company, translating complex data into clear insights that influence key decisions and organizational growth. With a focus on innovation, quality, and collaboration, you’ll guide your team to push boundaries, optimize processes, and deliver high-impact results. - Location: Hybrid-remote at our Rocklin, CA office
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Compensation: $120,000-$139,000/year
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience level, required
- Master’s degree in relevant field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in data analysis, with a track record of leading projects
- 1+ year of experience managing, training, or coaching team members in a professional setting
- Proven track record of designing and implementing innovative data solutions, with demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence decision-making at the organizational level
- Strong leadership aptitude, including supervising and mentoring data analysts, guiding the development of data strategies, and driving team performance and growth
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation and public speaking
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
- Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Highly proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
- Extensive experience in database management, data querying, and using data visualization tools
- Proficiency in at least one coding language for the use of data analytics (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency with SQL
- Proficiency with ETL (extract, transform, load) services and processes
- Experience working in an office setting
- Exceptional teamwork
Functional Requirements
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to:
- Sitting or standing at a desk for at least one hour at a time (total: 6-8 hours/day)
- Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 4-6 hours/day)
- Using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total: 2-4 hours/day)
