Job Summary

The role holder is responsible for applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, building high quality prediction algorithms, developing analytical reports and devising analytical solutions to use cases and data science problems. This will involve the ability to create sophisticated, value-added analytic systems that support revenue generation, risk management, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and research.

He/she may also be require to create data partnership with Fintech companies and/or develop possibilities for partnering with client base by offering data solutions as a competitive advantage.

Job Description

• Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources, ensuring data quality, readiness for analysis, and continuous improvement of data sources and gathering techniques.
• Analyze datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships, producing actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
• Build, optimize, and validate machine learning models (e.g., predictive, prescriptive, and cognitive), performing feature engineering, cross-validation, and model selection tailored to data characteristics and business needs.
• Apply advanced data science techniques, including data wrangling, mining, advanced statistics, machine learning, and distributed computing, to derive insights and enhance model performance.
• Ensure data and model quality by applying rigorous quality assurance frameworks, testing methodologies, and ongoing monitoring to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Use data storytelling and visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings, delivering user-friendly insights through dashboards, reports, and other data solutions.
• Present analysis (e.g., trends, forecasts) to stakeholders, demonstrating tangible business impact while aligning solutions with organizational objectives.
• Promote data literacy among stakeholders by sharing best practices and highlighting the business value and impact of data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with peers for reviews, refine solutions based on feedback, and integrate leading practices and trends to enhance data science outcomes.
• Contribute to data governance, compliance, and risk mitigation efforts, addressing data risks and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging data science trends, tools, and techniques, adopting innovative methods to optimize processes and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
