Job Title: External Intelligence Analyst

Department: Global Analytics

Reports to: Senior Manager, External Intelligence

Position Summary: Join the Kenvue Global Analytics team as an External Intelligence Analyst. This role is pivotal in keeping Kenvue connected to external trends, understanding our categories and markets, and supporting strategic investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing market and socio-demographic data, along with strong communication skills to support global brand and strategy teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Proactively analyze Kenvue’s performance across various data sources, including share performance, economic forecasts, category forecasts, and competitor reports.
  • Reporting: Assist in developing and maintaining global category and innovation forecasting processes, working closely with Data Science and data visualization teams.
  • Market Monitoring: Continuously review market landscapes to ensure optimal data coverage and provide monthly summaries of external changes to leadership.
  • Insight Generation: Identify key insights through advanced analytics and communicate findings to influence business investment decisions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Brand Development teams to set up innovation performance reporting and validate forecasting processes.
  • Seasonal Monitoring: Provide monthly monitoring of seasonal categories and expected performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with global strategy, brand development, and regional teams to ensure adoption of tools and insights.
  • Process Optimization: Support the optimization of reporting processes to meet evolving business needs through training and support.

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, sciences, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in FMCG or a similar industry, with a strong understanding of data sources like NiQ, Euromonitor, and economic indicator like GDP, World Bank data, employment rate.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.
  • Project Management: Solid project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Experience working in a matrix organization and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Desire and ability to understand the broader business context and how analytics impact strategic decisions.
