  • Full time, continuing role as Senior Data Quality Analyst  

  • Located at our Camperdown campus 

  • Salary from $108,557 - $118,267 plus 17% superannuation   

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Analyst to perform a critical role in the delivery of data to empower staff with the Advancement Portfolio to optimise their operational performance and deliver their overall strategies.

This is a key role in developing strong data management best practices to understand opportunities and challenges and support the Portfolio in implementing a strong data management operating model that will enable data to be used to suit a broad range of purposes across all activities and decision-making.  

Your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities where analytics techniques can be applied to create positive impact 

  • work closely with colleagues across the wider team to develop and continually refine the Portfolio Data Strategy and associated Data Governance practices 

  • identify opportunities to innovate the Portfolio’s approach to data to maximise value and impact, whilst also protecting confidential and sensitive information 

  • provide stakeholders with insights and recommendations to resolve data quality issues.

About you

  • tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience 

  • experience in working with data governance/data quality and data security teams in moving data pipelines into production with appropriate data quality, governance and security standards and certification 

  • demonstrated skills in developing an enterprise approach to data governance using cloud infrastructure, providing significant technical training and support to analysts and developers 

  • demonstrated experience using Power BI and SQL.
