As a Data Scientist Analyst within the Data and Analytics team, you will be part of a dynamic team that leverages data-driven insights to enhance customer experiences and drive strategic decision-making within the card business. You will analyze complex data sets, develop insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization, utilizing tools like SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and Python.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various databases, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Manage and analyze data using cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau to visualize data and effectively communicate results.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and implement automation to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a Data Scientist Analyst role or a similar position.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Extensive experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and basic modeling.
- Familiar with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
