Group Claims is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to support the design and implementation of our Data Quality strategy and drive continuous data quality improvement across the business.

As a key member of the Group Claims Data Assurance team, you will create an environment of collaboration, agility, innovation, and ownership in support of the wider Data and Insight function and overall business ambitions.

 

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will closely work with business stakeholders (data consumers within and outside Group Claims), Group Claims Performance & Insight Lead, Group Claims Data System Lead and IT to

  • Design and implement Data Quality technical and process solutions.
  • Oversee the provision of proactive data quality recommendations to the business communities support the team with the creation of data quality enhancement plans.
  • Develop of suite of KPI’s and insights that support the monitoring, status and resolution of data quality issues.

 

Your role

As a Data Quality Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve: 

 

  • Design and implement Data Quality technical and process solutions and develop data quality reporting and KPI’s  - providing insights of the health of Group Claims data
  • Identification and documentation of Data Quality issues
  • Design, ownership and management of the Data Quality Issues Log and Data Quality Remediation Framework
  • Development of Data Quality dashboards and reports for various stakeholders
  • Support for Root Cause Analysis and business validation rules repository
  • Support the Data Stewards, Business Partners and Data Assurance product owner to ensure requests are responded to in a timely and complete manner
  • Able to communicate with employees of all levels including senior management

 

Your Skills and Experience

As a Data Quality Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include: 

 

  • At least 4+ years of experience and knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Management;
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Pragmatic and practical, with ability to tailor methods, principles and standards to appropriate situations and audiences;
  • Excellent communication, conveying information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable;
  • Commercially aware, proactive, forward looking, inquisitive and attention to details;
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools;
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL tools/Databricks/PowerBI is an advantage.
