Our Financial Due Diligence solution is comprised of several integrated capabilities that support our clients' needs throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Your day-to-day may include:
- Supervise and oversee all aspects of engagements throughout the transaction process, and coordinate within and across multiple service lines
- Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements, lead meetings and calls with clients and target management
- Guide teams through complexities of accounting related analyses, financial data, and associated reconciliations between financial data sets
- Consolidate and synthesize data into actionable visualizations, focused on insights relevant to financial due diligence and the transaction thesis
- Provide observations into behavior, trends, financials and business operations through data analysis and the development of business intelligence visuals
- Develop dashboards and clearly articulate the insights reflected
- Utilize advanced business intelligence tools including complex calculations, table calculations, mapping, data blending and optimization of data extracts
- Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively
- Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
- Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution
- Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
- Other duties as assigned
You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related disciplines required
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level OR commensurate industry experience emphasizing financial/accounting data analysis required
- CPA certification and/or relevant professional certification required
- Expert knowledge of Tableau or Power BI (visualization), and SQL or Alteryx (data cleansing) and Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice
- Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills
- Can travel as needed, but typically less than 10%
The base salary range for this position in the firm's Chicago, IL office is between $136,000 and $204,000.
The base salary range for this position in New York only is between $146,900 and $220,300.
