Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated engineer to help advance our effort on creating the most efficient large language models, with a specific focus on creating values for Enterprises. The candidate will be responsible for training/finetuning of language models, developing prototype solutions to real-world problems, working closely with IBM Infrastructure teams, and IBM scientists in a flexible and fun environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2+ years programming experience – Python / C / C++
• Experience with distributed training and inference of large language models.
• Experience with machine learning tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Py Torch etc.
• Great problem-solving skills, with a strong desire for quality and engineering excellence
• Ability to quickly prototype ideas and use creative approaches for solving complex problems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• (BTech/Masters/PhD in Computer Science or allied fields)
