Für unser „AI Applications Team“ im Bereich „Radar Concepts & New Products Engineering“ suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine*n "Werkstudent*in im Bereich AI / ML (w/m/d)" am Standort Ulm.

In einem Team aus Mathematikern, Elektroingenieuren und Physikern ist es unser Ziel, innovative Radartechnologie für neuartige sowie etablierte Radarsysteme bereitzustellen. Unser Fokus liegt dabei auf der Anwendung von künstlicher Intelligenz auf die Radarsignalverarbeitung, insbesondere auf die Zielidentifikation und -klassifikation. Wir erforschen KI-basierte Lösungen, die auf die aktuellen und zukünftigen Anforderungen einer Vielzahl von Produkten zugeschnitten sind.

Your Tasks

• Support in the implementation of AI-based radar signal processing techniques

• Autonomously test and evaluate various AI architectures for radar data analysis

• Assist in the development and optimization of AI models using Python, specifically with PyTorch

• Collaborate with the research and development team to contribute innovative ideas for enhancing radar processing methods

• Analyze test results and refine models to improve accuracy and performance

• Document your work and present findings in team meetings

Your Profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

• Strong interest in applying latest research findings, particularly in AI and radar technologies

• Experience in developing AI software, preferably using Python and PyTorch

• Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks

• Proficient in German and English, both spoken and written

• Highly motivated and eager to learn and apply new technologies in the field of AI

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems autonomously
