Description

Skyworks is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Data Engineering to drive the structuring and standardization of all inline and electrical data to enable fast and efficient Yield analysis and data interpolation.  

Required Experience and Skills

The Senior Process Engineer will report directly to the Senior Principal Engineer responsible of yield analysis and YMS deployment in the SAW Technology Team. You will be located in Irvine, California and interact with teams in US, Japan and Singapore. The job will involve the following functions:

• Identify different file formats and sources for metrology and electrical data. 
• Perform Data Audit for Japan/Singapore Fabs and gap analysis with YMS loaded data
• Drive Proof of concept for data integration / connectivity and interface with IT department and different stakeholders for release in production environment. 
• Interface with Data Analytics Department for File Format Standardization (SEMI E142)
• Collaborate with all cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to this standard for existing and new technologies including equipment and MES interface.
• Drive automation in Yield analysis, Process and Product Capability, Tolerance Chain Analysis between Process and Product in collaboration with NPI and Integration teams

Education, Experience, and Skills

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science preferred.  Position requires BS and 5 years experience or MS and 3 years or PHD.
• Experience in scripting, machine learning, database structure applied in a semiconductor environment with a minimum of 3 years 
• Understanding of Yield Management System used in High Volume Manufacturing.
• Excellent communication with interpersonal skills and used to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Pragmatic and flexible attitude with a result- and data-driven can-do mentality.
• Works autonomously, well-organized, with a good attention to detail, while setting high standards in all aspects of the work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
