Minimum Requirements:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited post-secondary institution in one of the following areas: computer science, business analytics, data science, data analytics, information systems or a related technical field

• You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:

• Utilize analytical and data visualization techniques, quantitative problem solving and data science knowledge to assist in the development of digital analytics solutions

• Integrate information from multiple sources to enhance processes, analysis and streamlined reporting, such as designing and updating various digital dashboards for multiple lines of business

• Contribute to projects as a technical team member in the development to sustainment cycle, from design, to build test and deploy; specializing in rapid deployment of data pipelines and business analytics solutions, including orchestration, automated testing and quality control, continuous integration/deployments, versioning and environment management

• Fort McMurray position: offers an opportunity to focus on mobile mine equipment such as rope shovels and trucks, and develop software tools to analyze data from cloud-based databases

Location and other Key Details:

• This is a 4, 8, 12 or 16-month work term starting in January 2025.

• You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W., or a location in Fort McMurray.
