Purpose of Role: Support the HR function by managing, analysing, interpreting, and visualising people-related data to provide valuable insights that contribute to the overall success of the HR function and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for HR reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in collecting data from various sources and performing cleaning and pre-processing.
  • Conduct data validation and quality assurance to minimise errors and discrepancies.
  • Support the retention, classification, use, and control of HR/People-related data in accordance with Security, Data, and AI Governance Policies.
  • Use tools like MS Excel, PowerBI, and SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data sets.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in data.
  • Provide basic analysis and interpretation of data related to employee demographics, roles, responsibilities, and organisational structures.
  • Create detailed presentations and reports of HR data insights and present analytical results in a clear and concise manner.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Under graduate qualification in Industrial Engineering, Administration or similar studies.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies for analysing people metrics.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Preferred basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation and basic programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
  • Preferred experience with data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
