Data Analyst / Data Delivery Expert

We are looking for you, if you:

• would like to support Wholesale Bank Data Delivery Team with insight about data and data processing skills,
• would like to work with other Analysts from all over the world on understanding the data,
• have experience in gathering and analyzing data requirements and based on them, preparing the appropriate data sets,
• have min. 3 years of experience working in business analysis, data analytics or data science,
• have min. 3 years hands-on experience working with SQL,
• have min. 2 years’ experience working in SAS environment (preferably SAS Enterprise Guide),
• are able to identify problems, analyzing key information and making connections, in order to find appropriate solutions,
• want to support Data Delivery Team with insight about data and data processing skills,

You will get extra points, if you:

• have worked in Agile environment, and you know how to make it a real part of your job,
• have experience working in a bank, financial institution or other institution regulated by the government,
• have experience in credit risk,
• have knowledge about credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9, IRB),
• have experience with GIT or other version control systems,
• have good understanding of regulatory requirements,
• have hands-on experience working with Analytical Base Tables (ABTs).

Your responsibilities:

• data analysis and delivery,
• data processing, quality assessment, structuring and all other tasks related to data,
• writing efficient SAS macros programs,
• data delivery process automation,
• finding discrepancies in the data and proposing solutions to the problems by conducting various analyses in 4GL/SQL,
• conducting Data Quality Tests,
• gathering requirements regarding RDS/ABTs from our stakeholders,
• creating documentation related to the data (Data Plans and other data documentation required for Model Life Cycle),
• reviewing ABTs from the analytical point of view,
• checking with Model Owners/Model Developers/Validators whether all the assumptions in the created RDS/ABTs are in line with their expectations.

Information about squad:

As Data Analyst in our team, you will be responsible for all data related topics in one of the squads in Wholesale Bank Data Delivery Team. The Risk Data Tribe is responsible for E2E data solutions for various IRB and IFRS9 projects, covering entire model life cycle needs. The delivery squad is accountable for data gathering, processing and delivery for model development, monitoring and validation purpose. In squad we closely cooperate with Model Owners/Model Developers/Validators and other Risk Data Tribe members with all topics related to model life cycle.

You will gain knowledge about data we collect in ING Group, analyze it, and prepare prototypes of new data structures that will be used further in the process. We have expertise about the data and in-depth understanding what information can be extracted from it. As Data Analyst you will have crucial role to play in delivering high quality data to other participants of risk processes (i.e. credit risk modelers, validators and many others).

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Scientist III”.
