Kleinanzeigen was launched in September 2009 as eBay Kleinanzeigen. Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a leading global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen.

Kleinanzeigen is part of Adevinta: a global online classifieds specialist and sustainability leader with 25+ products in 10 countries.

You will work closely with the strategy and finance functions, reporting directly to the Head of Overarching and Functional Analytics. The position is based in Berlin, with a hybrid work arrangement (currently at least twice per month in the office), allowing a mix of remote and on-site collaboration. It’s a highly visible role where your contributions will directly influence critical decisions across Kleinanzeigen.

What you'll do:

• Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with Kleinanzeigen leadership, strategy, and finance teams to identify risks, seize opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.

• Perform Strategic Analysis: Use your expertise in statistics and advanced analytics to uncover new insights from our vast amounts of data that shape our future direction.

• Forecast and Track Performance: Develop and refine forecasting models and monitor high-level company performance, to steer our company to our goals.

• Shape KPIs: Design and refine metrics to ensure they reflect our goals and lead to informed decision-making.

Who you are:

• You have 4+ years of experience in strategy, business or product analytics

• You’ll bring a strong proficiency in creating forecasting models and ROI calculations

• You’re highly proficient in SQL and statistical analysis, with solid skills in Python and its analytical packages

• You are experienced in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and have a fundamental understanding of data platforms

• You have proven experience in designing and maintaining KPI frameworks, including harmonization and tracking

• You are eager to help your team and business partners

• You value solving challenges and enjoy collaborating with others to find creative solutions

• You excel at converting complex business questions into specific requirements, relevant metrics and important insights to give clear and actionable recommendations based on data

• You can effectively wield the pareto principle, slice big projects into smaller pieces and make your work and progress transparent

• You can easily connect and collaborate with a diverse set of people across levels and backgrounds

• You are committed to learning, welcome feedback, are eager to improve and aim for high quality results

• You are proficient in English
