Data Management
- Ensures on-time and accurate completion of transactions/data entry in a high-volume HCM including, but not limited, to creating leave requests, submitting corrections to pay and vacation balances, processing sign-on bonuses and processing transactions.
- Ensures accurate application of academic appointment data to the system as well as various departments which include tenure status, rank, academic track, and named professorships, as needed.
- Adheres to University and HR regulatory standards for data management and integrity and validates supporting documentation.
- Monitors monthly reports including minimum wage (in various states/metro areas), living wage and exempt employee’s salary and works with departments to resolve any issues.
- Enters and audits monthly and biweekly payroll documents for accuracy and timeliness, adhering to university deadlines.
Customer Service
- Quickly and effectively responds to all departmental questions related to transactions as well as adheres to timeline driven standards.
- Facilitates problem resolution across HR/Payroll with limited escalations such as: system login and navigation, transaction status as well as policy, program and process questions related to Human Capital Management (HCM), compensation, benefits, Leave of Absence (LOA), time entry and payroll data, academic and information.
- Assists departments with staff salary and merit planning. Conducts simple analysis and resolves issues.
- Serves as a liaison to payroll and other areas of the university by responding to high-volume policy and procedural questions in a timely manner.
Maintains Standards
- Adheres to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicates with Team Lead as issues arise to remain in compliance.
- Engages in continual improvement through on-going training.
Support
- Provides back-up support and assistance to the team.
- Participates in business process testing and initiatives as appropriate for assigned area of support.
Performs other duties as assigned.

- Prefer two or more years of college courses in accounting, business, human resources (policy/procedures/law), and/or computer science and experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll and leaves of absence.
