6+ years of experience in advanced analytics, statistical modelling (predictive analytics), or related roles.
Deep experience across I&A, including data analytics and research, data reporting & visualization, data processing and the use of AI/ML and commercial analytic tools. Specific experience in Python/ R Shiny/ JavaScript and Qlik Sense / PowerBI is highly desired
Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry major markets (G7), including relevant data sources (e.g., IQVIA MIDAS, Evaluate, DRG, IPD, US datasets etc.) required to understand and generate insights about the market.
Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages such as R Shiny, Python, SAS, Alteryx or equivalent with working knowledge of SQL.

 

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Portfolio-Wide Simulation Models: Expand simulations from program-level to portfolio-wide analyses, integrating external variables such as patent extensions and launch delays. Design and implement Expected Shortfall (ES) or Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) models to quantify and mitigate risks.
• Platform Development and Maintenance: Build and maintain tools such as the Portfolio Simulator and BOUND to ensure robustness and accuracy of analyses.
• Knowledge Internalization: Collaborate with external partners and Internal teams (technology team), on Modern Portfolio Theory and Monte Carlo initiatives. Liaise with IT teams and ensure IT compliance and governance, Cross functional collaboration and exposure to Agile framework desired.
• Innovation in Analytics Approaches: Conceptualize and develop advanced analytics methodologies tailored to evolving portfolio needs. Build concept models for IP, Development and supply risk assessments.

Desirable Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages such as R Shiny, Python, SAS, Alteryx or equivalent with working knowledge of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with simulation modelling, risk assessment frameworks, and statistical methodologies. Strong understanding of portfolio management principles, including Modern Portfolio Theory.Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); VBA proficiency and excel data modelling is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare analytics.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. Knowledge of supply chain or IP risk assessment frameworks.Strong collaboration and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
