About the team

We are seeking talented and motivated Sr.  Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in various technologies and tools. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

What you’ll own

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

• Implement data architecture and data modeling solutions.

• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.

• Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and processes.

• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.

What you bring

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases

• Experience in designing and structuring data systems (Data Architecture)

• Knowledge of Pyspark for big data processing and analytics

• Familiarity with Snowpark for building data pipelines and processing data within Snowflake

• Ability to automate data workflows (Data Pipelines)

• Experience in writing and optimizing stored procedures

• Proficiency in using Databricks for big data analytics and machine learning

• Expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics

• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, Boto3) for data storage, processing, and security

• Understanding of secure methods for transferring data files (Secure File Transfer Processes)

• Built Orchestration pipeline using Astronomer/Airflow

Additional Skills

• Snowflake Certification.

• AWS Certification.

• Ability to design and document process flows

• Experience with PGP encryption for securing data

• Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code

• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and reporting

• Understanding of data clean rooms for secure data collaboration

• Knowledge of data sharing techniques

• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
