OUR IMPACT
Asset Servicing (AS) Business Intelligence (BI) team leads BI initiatives in close partnership with multiple teams within the AS Organization to implement high quality BI/Automation solutions in order to meet business goals. Asset Servicing is a part of Global Market Division business unit responsible for the management of Corporate Actions events across the globe for a wide range of products. The team’s role in supporting both internal and external clients throughout the lifecycle of large-scale events, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Shareholder Meetings, and Bankruptcies, provides a unique opportunity to play a part in real-time, impactful market transactions. A BI professional on this team provides the analysis and low code automation which enables Goldman Sachs to successfully improve payments and process events across global markets
The team is seeking a skilled professional who will provide business insights for data driven decisions. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem solving and client service skills to support the various business units and clients. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with the business, middle office, and engineering teams in order to work toward a shared goal.
- Work in the team of developers/business analysts using the Agile project management methodology.
- Leverage your innovative skills to identify ways to continually improve processes.
- Mitigate risk for the firm and our clients by securely delivering data to stakeholders.
- Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable business processes to support our clients.
- Play one of the key roles for implementing data warehousing/ETL solutions in AS.
- Implement end to end process using Automation/Digital Workflow solutions across AS Operations like Appian and/or other corporate platforms.
- Development of BI solutions across AS Operations using capabilities such as Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, and R/Python.
- Manage prioritization and stakeholder engagement to maximize delivery towards established business goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Low-Code Automation.
- Analytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within a high-risk environment and meet challenging deadlines and targets.
- Ability to communicate clearly with end users, development managers and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in db query languages such as SQL.
- Proficient in prescriptive analytics using tools such as Alteryx or others.
- Extensive experience with using multi-dimensional data modeling/data warehousing for data analytics and reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting financial markets operations and/or corporate actions functions.
- Experience in gathering and documenting requirements with full testing traceability.
- Project implementation and design experience on Appian.
- T-SQL 70-761 or Similar Certification.
- Create and maintain ETL processes using a vast array of tools.
