Keyrus is looking for a new Data Engineer to join our team. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality.

This position is Hybrid - Madrid based.

Target start date = February 2025

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Create and optimize data models, tables, and database structures within Snowflake.
  • Develop database solutions to support analytical and reporting requirements.
  • Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data quality through transformation and cleansing.
  • Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Conduct performance tuning and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand and deliver data solutions.
  • Integrate data solutions with existing IT systems.
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Adhere to best practices in data governance and security.


Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a data engineer.
  • Proficient in Python programming for data manipulation and scripting.
  • Strong SQL skills for database development and querying.
  • Expertise in Snowflake features like Streams, Tasks, DAG, Data Sharing, UDF, and Time Travel.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake architecture and warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.


Good to have

  • Experience with Talend or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Additional expertise in advanced ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of other data warehousing solutions.
