At Colgate-Palmolive, we offer an exceptional Internship Program within our Global Information Technology organization. This internship is a six-month paid hybrid program, starting in January and continuing into the spring semester as part-time with opportunity to extend. 

As an integral part of our team, interns will gain exposure to enterprise business practices and modern technologies. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, data modeling, and visualization. Each intern will be assigned to a unique project and dedicated mentor depending on the available projects and intern’s interests. Projects may involve Data Analysis, Data Visualizations, Data Engineering, and more. 

Responsibilities May Include:

• Developing business processes, data pipelines, CI/CD automations and data infrastructure in support of an enterprise data platform

• Performing data analysis, developing KPIs, and exploring real-time analytics capabilities

• Create data visualization and operational monitoring dashboards that support ongoing and future projects with actionable data insights 

• Additional responsibilities will be dependent upon specific project assignment

Requirements:

• Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at a college or university with a graduation date of or later than May 2025

• Majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field 

• Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

• A minimum GPA of 2.8

• Demonstrated familiarity with data analysis and programming languages (especially SQL, Python) through courses or personal projects

• Previous experience with UI/UX, ETL or data visualization tools and is a plus

• Must be available to work hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office location throughout the entire internship

  • Every Tuesday or Wednesday, specific hours are flexible 

• This position requires a 6-month commitment (January-June)

  • Must be available to work 15 hours/week during the academic semester

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $23,00 - $32,50 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
