Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights to support key business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, data manipulation, and visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Model Development: Develop, test, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Data Preprocessing: Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
  • Predictive Modeling: Build predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Data Visualization: Create intuitive and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, and analysts, to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate model performance and continuously improve models based on feedback and new data.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role.
    • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
    • Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, etc.
    • Expertise in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.
    • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
    • Experience in deploying machine learning models to production environments is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with deep learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., CNNs, RNNs).
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision is a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
