ING is looking to recruit a Data Management Regulatory Demand Specialist, reporting to the Head of CDO HR within the COO People domain.

Summary of role
The HR domain "Data Management Regulatory Demand Specialist" role supports the Data Management team within the COO People organisation in the delivery of management information and reporting solutions to different business areas within ING and specially focused on the implementation of monitoring required for regulatory requirements, including amongst others the new European reporting requirements and metrics associated to Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management (CSRD). As CSRD is a new regulatory requirement launching in early 2025, the main focus will be on this topic, however the scope of this role is covering all regulatory requirements in the future.
Roles and responsibilities
Data gathering, analysis, dashboarding, and monitoring
Translate business requirements into clear requirements for the HR landscape (Global & Local) based on a wide range of data sources
Support and challenge local countries and GHR subject matter experts to understand the business requirements, in order to design output that meet stakeholder needs
Design, construct and implement standard reporting solutions based on local or global applications, being able to create advanced interactive dashboards and resolve ad-hoc queries
Collaborate in the maintenance, design and improvement of standardised reporting catalogues and dashboards for specific audiences across ING, monitoring usage, evaluating value added and driving continuous improvements to the offered solutions
Understand features and properties, ensure data integrity of new and existing tracking, and own the maintenance and administrative functions of relevant BI systems and platforms
Translating technical skill, systems, jargon, and dashboards into stakeholder-friendly output
Provide advice on complex questions around reporting, dashboarding and benchmarking to relevant stakeholders e.g. SteerCo, CSRD leads etc., being able to reconcile data from multiple sources and considering the key aspects of data management (governance, protection, retention, quality, etc)
Act as a bridging point (when necessary) between GHR and key stakeholders, balancing the business needs versus technical constraints
Be able to effectively adapt your messaging to match your audience level's interest, expertise, and business needs
Advise the Steerco on applicable requirements, solutions and design based on the identified needs
Continuous Improvement - self-and process
Proactively search for new ways to present information and streamline BI solution designs; continuously improve data visualization skills
Recommend the adoption of new technologies and software that can improve the team’s solutions and boost their performance
Set targeted individual goals and work independently to complete work within the committed timelines
How to succeed
University degree required in an area related to human resources, business management, information technologies or sustainability management.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence and/or advanced reporting
Familiarity Business Intelligence solutions (Power BI; Cognos and SAP Business Objects) and basic Office 365 tools is required
Experience working in the areas of human resources practices, processes and corporate organizational structures is ideal
Experience managing performance indicators and reports for risk and compliance related activities
Competencies
Not afraid of handling and analysing highly complex and unstructured data, building proper collection mechanisms, and integrating data from multiple sources
Great at building databases and creating manual or automated dashboards
Can answer ad-hoc queries promptly and accurately
Can work independently, prioritize business needs, and drive self-accountability in a complex stakeholder environment
Strong execution drive with focus on high-quality solutions and results
Pro-active and detail oriented
High degree of personal accountability, ownership, and integrity
