Senior AI & Computer Vision Engineer

Eden Library is developing Viewer; a camera-based system for monitoring high value crops, with presence in European and Latin American countries. We are on the lookout for a talented AI and Computer Vision Engineer to guide our software team in crafting AI-driven solutions that boost farm productivity and efficiency.

Role Summary

The AI and Computer Vision Engineer at Eden Library will be instrumental in leading the development of our AI software stack. This role encompasses overseeing the creation and implementation of sophisticated computer vision systems, data management frameworks, and machine learning pipelines that are integral to our product offerings

Requirements

- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Statistics or a related technical field.

- Demonstrable expertise in AI and computer vision with a thorough grasp of neural network architectures (object detection, semantic/instance segmentation) and AI frameworks (Pytorch).

- Proficient in applying various computer vision technologies and frameworks to solve complex problems.

- Expert-level coding skills in Python and/or C++, along with experience using data management.

- Leadership experience or active involvement in guiding technical teams through successful project completions.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a penchant for innovation in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

- Direct the advancement of AI and computer vision initiatives, ensuring the incorporation of renowned architectures and cutting-edge technologies.

- Oversee the comprehensive AI model development lifecycle, from data acquisition and preprocessing to annotation and sophisticated model training.

- Crossfunctional collaboration with embedded software, hardware and product development teams, to meld AI and computer vision capabilities seamlessly into our suite of products.

- Design and ensure the robustness and scalability of AI systems, leveraging AWS cloud products for optimal deployment and operation.

- Stay informed on emerging trends in AI and computer vision, integrating state-of-the-art practices and methodologies into our workflow.

- Partner with product management to define the vision and direction for new products, laying out clear roadmaps and strategies for market entry.
