BI Analyst

Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is a critical role responsible for providing actionable business intelligence in consultation with management and business units for use in daily and strategic decision making. Apply industry best practices and standards to create optimum solutions that improve business performance. Conduct analytical studies to provide results/recommendations to senior management for department and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Maintain software tools required for performing the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, finance and global stakeholders to collect requirements, create reports, develop dashboards, and maintain the flow of information and analysis.
• Ensure that systems provide accurate and timely data to reporting tools.
• Design reports for ease-of-use and self-service by departments.
• Working with management, create product forecasts and analyze trends to include market demand, and variance vs. budget.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Hadoop, Jupyter notebooks
• Expertise in Tableau analytics software
• Working knowledge of Dataiku, SFDC, billing systems, Piano and Marketo software
• Background in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively across functional departments
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
