The Data Scientist will support Window Nation's Marketing, Call Center, Sales, and Senior Management teams by leveraging advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, AI, and predictive modeling to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the marketing domain, specializing in multichannel attribution modeling, consumer behavior analysis, cluster/segmentation modeling, and database setup. They will also be adept in demand modeling, linear and logistic regression, media mix modeling, and marketing communication modeling. In this role, you will process and validate data, analyze and report on marketing activities, and identify trends to provide management actionable insights and strategic recommendations. You will also be responsible for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and applying advanced analytical methodologies to optimize our marketing strategies. A solid background in database setup is essential, as you will be involved in ensuring data integrity and managing data infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly driven to leverage data for problem-solving and delivering insights that drive impactful marketing decisions.

Core Role Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain predictive models using advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to forecast consumer behavior, optimize marketing strategies, and drive decision-making.
  • Conduct multi-channel attribution analysis to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various digital and offline channels, ensuring accurate allocation of resources to drive ROI.
  • Leverage consumer behavior analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will inform segmentation strategies and campaign targeting, helping to increase conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement cluster and segmentation models for personalized marketing initiatives, categorizing audiences and markets based on behavior, preferences, and demographics.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by validating, cleaning, and processing large datasets from multiple sources, maintaining high-quality data standards for analysis and reporting.
  • Design, manage, and optimize marketing-related databases, ensuring data infrastructure supports advanced analytical needs while maintaining data security and accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to automate data collection, transformation, and integration from multiple sources. Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring they are optimized for performance and continuously monitored for accuracy and efficiency to support ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Apply media mix modeling to evaluate the impact of various marketing channels, optimize media spend allocation, and improve the overall marketing return on investment.
  • Partner with the Marketing, Call Center, Sales, and Senior Management teams to provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations that enhance marketing performance and business growth.
  • Provide leadership with insights and strategic recommendations based on rigorous analysis, helping shape marketing tactics and overall business strategies in alignment with growth objectives.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing analytics tools and technologies, ensuring the team has access to state-of-the-art data collection, analysis, and reporting solutions.
  • Utilize marketing analytics platforms and data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Dynamics CRM, Business Objects, Google Analytics, Power BI) to generate
  • actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to gather requirements and ensure data integrity across various systems.
  • Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably within the marketing domain

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in multichannel attribution, media mix, and marketing communication modeling.
  • Experience in consumer behavior analysis, cluster/segmentation modeling, and demand forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Expertise working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
  • Background in database setup, management, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods (linear and logistic regression, clustering, time-series forecasting)
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, sci-kit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge in evaluating A/B testing results and experiment design.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written capacities to varying levels of leadership.
  • Ability to communicate across departments throughout all tasks.
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs, with the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes.
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics and familiarity with marketing technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems (Microsoft D365), and marketing automation platforms).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in building and automating data workflows and managing data pipelines
