Overview of Role

Alvotech is seeking a talented Statistician/Data Scientist to join our team. You will be involved in data wrangling, database management, developing and standardizing statistical tools, used for stability, trending and designing experiments studies. If you have experience in non-clinical statistics applied to biopharmaceutical development and enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply! 

Scope & Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Clean and prepare data for analysis.
• Tool Development: Support in creating and standardizing statistical tools.
• Experiment Support: Help design experiments and analyze results.
• Statistical Analysis: Handle various statistical requests and analyses.
• Reporting: Create reports and visualizations; prepare documentation.
• Collaboration: Provide statistical input to different teams.
• Compliance: Ensure work meets regulatory standards; support validation.
• SOPs and Records: Update SOPs and maintain organized records.

Qualifications and skills:

• Education: BSc in Statistics or related field.
• Experience: Preferably in non-clinical statistics for biopharmaceutical development (experimental design, stability studies, comparability studies, capability analysis, trend analysis).
• Programming: Proficient in at least in one of the programming languages of R/Python/JMP & JSL
• Statistical Tools: Proficient in basic tools Minitab, especially JMP.
• Knowledge Areas: Experimental designs for QbD processes, stability, comparability, capability, and trend analysis, visualization plots and prediction profiling, data mining and databases.
• Good English skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
