What you’ll do:
- Develop algorithms and predictive models to solve critical business problems for Salesforce, including the development of smarter CRM applications
- Build solutions using modern data wrangling, analysis, and visualization tools
- Develop tools and libraries that will help us to surface deeper more valuable insights faster
- Design and develop insightful analytics deliverables via a variety of techniques including requirements gathering, data profiling, data analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, use case definition, data visualization, and data storytelling
- Define logical data models and develop the required supporting data architecture (e.g., reporting aggregates, data layer, data mart)
- Manage data and insights as a product, partnering with other data intelligence functions to develop and deliver data assets, such as dashboards and data applications
- Leverage programming skills, statistical techniques, and data science practices - such as experimentation, forecasting, clustering, etc to wrangle data and deliver relevant and trustworthy insights
- Combine knowledge and expertise across the entire team, to distill key learnings and co-develop action plans with teams
- Interface with product teams and executives, modulating communication to match the audience
Who you are:
- You are a hands-on analyst
- You have an experimentation mindset
- You are excited about measuring the user experience and iterating through an experimental approach
- You are a strategic thinker
- You are advanced in common analytical programming languages (e.g. Python or R) and SQL
- You have strong understanding of statistical methods
- You are familiar with end-to-end data development, including data model design, quality review, deployment, and maintenance
- You are proficient in telling data stories in a wide-range of formats, including slides, charts and dashboards
- You are able to plan projects in detail, set schedules, coordinate resources across product, data, and engineering teams, execute project end-to-end, and make sure deadlines and quality expectations are met
What you bring:
- At least 4 + years of professional experience in product analytics or data science
- Strong expertise in at least two of the following the clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud
- Advanced expertise in the following Analytics applications: Salesforce CRM Analytics, Tableau, Marketing Cloud Intelligence
- Experience in the field of business intelligence, data science, information management, or consulting.
- Experience with at one or more of the following: modern data wrangling, statistical data analysis, or visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Einstein Analytics, Datorama, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire, QuickSight, Data Studio, Looker, etc.)
