Data Management Intern, Data Office

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE/SUMMARY

Contribute to a variety of data and business projects and gain insights in the overall operations of the data office through data mining, business monitoring and regular performance tracking/reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the maintenance and creation of regular reports and dashboards
• Support ad-hoc projects and queries from various stakeholders with the help from the supervisor
• Assist to mine through large data sets to identify anomalies and investigate the root causes of anomalies to ensure that the data sets are delivered in the required quality
• Exposure to various key tools such as Microsoft Excel and SAP BO to ensure up-to-date data and its availability via continuous data enrichment

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Availability of at least 3 months
• Possessing or Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative focus: Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems/Technologies, etc.
• Eager and willing to learn, attentive to details, problem solving skills, and strong sense of commitment on outcome delivery in a timely manner
• Good communication skills and collaborative attitudes among the team, various business functions and relevant IT teams
