Would you like to join the largest bank in the Nordics? We are looking for Analysts to join our Markets Business Technology unit in Nordea Markets. This is an opportunity for you to kick-start your career and develop in a dynamic and international organisation with a focus on customers and the financial markets.

 

We are looking for several Analysts to start in various full-time roles starting from 1 July 2025 in Copenhagen and Stockholm.

 

About our team
 

Meet the Markets Business Technology team. We are a unit in Nordea Markets consisting of over 80 employees spread out in several teams across the Nordics but primarily based in Copenhagen. Our roles are many, but we focus on supporting, developing and implementing solutions for our business areas including software development, business and data analyses, risk management, AI and driving change agendas.

What you’ll be doing  
 

You will learn about Nordea and its operations across various business areas and gain essential skills and knowledge to support different business functions. You will have access to training and guidance, which will help you prepare for career advancement as well as enable you to build a professional network through interaction and collaboration with colleagues across our organisation.

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Understand and map out business processes to turn ideas into real solutions that make a difference.
  • Design creative solutions to meet a variety of business needs, including trading, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Help set the rules for how data is used, make sure everything stays compliant, and help resolve any issues along the way.
  • Be part of exciting projects to improve risk data tools and systems, using business insights to drive smarter decisions.
  • Team up with data users and IT developers to create modern tools that simplify risk analysis and make data more accessible.
  • Work across diverse groups, collaborating with stakeholders and partners to bring innovative ideas to life and streamline processes.

Your background and skills include:

  • Maximum two years’ work experience post-graduating from university.
  • Master’s degree in STEM, economics, finance or similar.
  • Excellent English and communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Excel in particular.
  • Excellent programming experience is required in some roles – e.g. Python, Java, C++, any other object-oriented language, as well as agile software development, DevOps, ML Ops, etc.
