Position Summary:

We seek a seasoned Analytics Engineering Manager with 12+ years of experience to lead our analytics and software engineering teams in Bangalore. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of analytics, advanced analytics, AI/Automation and digital/software engineering projects supporting supply chain and manufacturing functions for our global organization. Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a reporting analysts, AI Engineering, and Analytics engineers team.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics strategies, frameworks, best practices to support business goals.
  • Oversee reporting systems and dashboards' design, development, and maintenance.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques to build predictive models and improve processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, operations, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of contracted services and solutions.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to minimize project disruptions and delays.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies, using industry best practices and lessons learned.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular project status updates, reports, and metrics, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and areas for improvement.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading analytics engineering teams supporting a global organization's supply chain or manufacturing functions.
  • Strong domain expertise in building insights, dashboards, reports, scorecards, and reporting applications, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, processes, and technologies.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of data, analytics, AI, and Automation architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, with experience developing end-to-end business solutions.
  • Experience with advanced analytics and automation tools like Tableau, PowerBI, UIPath, Thoughtspot, R/Python, CortexAI, etc.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
