is looking for a
Team Leader – International Retail Business Analytics & Insights Team

Main task: Manage the development and implementation of data-driven solutions and insight-based decision making across OTP Group in CEE

OTP Group’s strategic goal is to continuously improve data-driven decision making across its international member banks by applying business intelligence and advanced analytics to improve efficiency and customer experience in the CEE region.

The International Retail Directorate (headquartered in Budapest) is looking to recruit a Team Leader for the Business Analytics & Insights Team.

Description of tasks:

• Lead and manage the International Retail Business Analytics & Insights Team 
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the International Retail Directorate
• Develop and implement the International Retail Directorate's analytics strategy and roadmap to enhance business performance and customer experience
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of the data of OTP Group’s international member banks to provide actionable insights
• Manage the development of dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends
• Prepare presentations for senior management based on the findings and recommendations
• Support and participate in advanced analytics projects of the Group member banks
• Collaborate with other departments within the Directorate to identify business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives
• Facilitate the transfer of experience and knowledge between OTP Group member banks

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science 
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial bank / consulting firm / fintech company
• Proven experience of business analytics and data science projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to transform data into meaningful insights
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python), or willingness to learn if any of these are lacking
• Strong written and spoken English, CEE language is an advantage but not a requirement
• Flexibility to travel and partially work abroad
